By accessing and using ResumeAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ResumeAI is an AI-powered resume builder that helps users create professional, ATS-optimized resumes. The Service includes free and paid tiers with varying features and usage limits. Available features may change over time and may be controlled by runtime feature flags.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
4. Free and Paid Plans
The Service offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Free plan users receive a limited number of resume generations per month. Pro plan subscribers receive unlimited generations and access to all premium features. Pricing and features are subject to change with notice.
5. Payments and Billing
Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including personal information, work experience, and other resume data. We use your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of information in your resumes. For profile import features, you must provide text or document exports that you are authorized to use; automated scraping of third-party profile URLs is not supported.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to help generate resume content. While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before use. We do not guarantee that AI-generated resumes will result in job interviews or employment.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive resumes; to violate any applicable laws; to infringe on intellectual property rights; or to attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the Service's operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities or data loss.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
